The Art of Fairytales

Arial a beautiful mermaid that roams the sea

Not a care in the world and always feeling free

But now this mermaid of such beauty and grace

Has become trapped and the tears begin to roll down her face

 

What will the humans do knowing a mermaid is real?

If only she knew how to escape, she doesn’t have the skill

Humans are something that mermaid’s fear

And they know that they must never go near

 

Trapped in fishing net and no way to get out

All seemed lost without a doubt

Not all fairy-tale have a happy ending

So is there any point of pretending

That she will be rescued from this unlucky fate

Unfortunately real life just isn’t that great.
